Real estate tip 101

Incentivize the buyer’s agents to show and sell your home. Commissions vary in any market but local markets tend to find their comfort zone. I have noticed several homes recently expired on the MLS offering 2% commission. Bear in mind that the buyer’s agents have to typically split commissions with their companies….then the IRS etc. Some firms will make the agents make up for the difference in commission, in this case of 2 versus 3%, hence the agent makes virtually nothing. Commissions are negotiable, please understand that but I have found that a low commission is the veritable kiss of death.
